How I would like to be remembered
63Psalm - Chapter 128:1-4
1. Blessed are all who fear the Lord, who walk in his ways.
2. You will eat the fruit of your labor; blessings and prosperity will be yours.
3. Your wife will be like a fruitful vine within your house; your sons will be like olive shoots around your table.
4. Thus is the man blessed who fears the Lord.
Better a poor man whose walk is blameless than a rich man whose ways are perverse.
Memory is one of the most important ways by which histories animate our current and past actions. There are many ways people would like to be remembered. Some would like to be remembered as the smartest, or the best athlete. Others would like to be remembered for the good deeds they have accomplished. Most would like to be remembered for the lives they touched.
Houses and wealth are inherited from parents, but a prudent wife is from the Lord
I would like to be remembered as a loving husband, one that thought about his wife and children before himself. As an individual who was warm hearted, compassionate, understanding, supportive, and generous, with a sense of humor. I hope that my wife would remember me as the man that loved her with his total beings, even though he is not the best at showing or telling her how much he loves her, needed, and honored her.
Proverbs - Chapter 4: 10 - 15
10. Listen, my son, accept what I say, and the years of your life will be many.
11. I guide you in the way of wisdom and lead you along straight paths.
12. When you walk, your steps will not be hampered; when you run, you will not stumble.
13. Hold on to instruction, do not let it go; guard it well, for it is your life.
14. Do not set foot on the path of the wicked or walk in the way of evil men.
15. Avoid it, do not travel on it; turn from it and go on your way.
I hope my children will remember me as a dad that always went the extra mile, tried to be fair, understanding, open, and a great mentor. I want to be remembered as a Christian man. A man that tried his best to live and lead based on his Christian beliefs. Not by my words alone, but by the way I treated people, and the example I set for my children, and others.
I want to be remembered as the guy that could brighten up your gloomy day. Be remembered as the person that could make you smile or laugh when you needed it most. I want someone to be able to reflect on the times they were down, and I said something funny that turn their day around.
The righteous man leads a blameless life; blessed are his children after him.
So, now that I'm a father, how would I like to be remembered? As a God-fearing, God loving man that was an inspiration to his children, and others. Someone that was encouraging to all, a hardworking individual with relentless determination! One that has taught his kids integrity, honor, truthfulness and the desire to treat others as God has commanded us to, and the way they would like to be treated themselves. These are the ways I would like to be remembered.

I love this hub Claude. Your light shines like a beacon and your dedication to your wife and family are an inspiration.
I wish I must be remembered like you. Although I am not yet married. But Claude, your wishes are the wishes of all those people who believe in good deeds and have faith in God. I am also God-fearing, I believe in good deeds, as the Lord says- Love all, never Hurt anyone.
Great hub.

A beautiful emotive Hub Article you have written Claude.
The world is a far better place just for having people such as yourself being a part of it and I hope that you are only too happy to wait for quite a while for your 'rememberance wishes' to happen.
