Hi, my name is Claude and I’m new to HubPages.  I’ll be writing about things that I’ve discovered in the 45 years or so I’ve spent on earth, including how my life totally changed in the blink of an eye one day in October 2002.

I’m a semi-retired Project Manager who traveled across the United States chasing project timelines and elusive project schedules. Recently, I lost my job after many years with a global telecommunications company. Now I’m fighting for my rights in a legal suit, trying to make the Insurance Company do the right thing and give me my benefits.

I’m hoping to find a place where I can actively begin an intense physical rehabilitation program and work toward my goal of walking again.  I have a website on Caringbridge where I post updates on my progress.

Two of the most important things in my life are my family and my faith. I enjoy spending time with my three kids at their sporting events and school activities and enjoy watching car racing, sports and movies.

After I read a few articles here on HubPages a friend encouraged me to try my own hand at writing. She said, “In each of our lives there lives a story or two.” I’ll be embarking on a new journey of self enlightenment and discovery while I put my heart out there for you to see.
